Mosquito culprit

I lit some mosquito coils to smoke out the bugs that may be biting Minami and found this one flying by the refrigerator last night.

Arm getting better

Returned from the pediatrician who advised to continue using Benadryl to suppress swelling and itchiness and maybe even vitamin b12 to repel mosquito bites. When we got home at about 11:30am I gave Minami another 1tsp of Benadryl.

Arm swelling

At 7:30am Minami's arm swelling seems to have gone down. She complained of itchiness through the night so I applied some cold compresses with a sock folded over it to keep it from being too cold on her arm. At one point I also applied 1% Hydrocortisone cream to the red areas but this seemed less affective.

Minami's arm continues to be swollen and itchiness seems to be bothering her arms so at 2am I gave her another 1tsp of Benadryl.

Benadryl

Minami took a 2nd 1tsp of Benadryl at 7:30pm. Her left arm is swelling again but she's not complaining of pain but the area does have a fever.

Minami was itching her hand last night and I saw that her palm was a bit swollen with a central bump that looked like a mosquito bite. But this could be a an alergic reaction or a combination of the two. I applied some 1% Hydrocortisone cream at the time and she slept. When she woke up there were other swollen areas on her arms so I have her 1mL of Children's Benadryl to hopefully suppress any further swelling. She isn't complaining too much of itching or swelling which is a good sign. Last time she had similar symptoms she went to the ER because of sepsis resulting from the one of the swollen areas.
